When a passenger check in desk at Heathrow Airport’s Terminal Two shot up through the roof in a ball of orange flame, all the usual people tried to claim responsibility:  The IRA, the Gas Board and the PLO – but no rational cause could be found for the explosion.  It was designated as an Act of God.  But, thinks Dirk Gently, which God?
