Reporter Jason Clark is invited by his cousin to return to the place of his childhood adventures: Windriver, Wyoming. There he finds a growing racial resentment between the townspeople and the Indians, who have been buying out local ranchers. That’s not a real problem – but the Indians aren’t doing anything with the and and the local feed store is feeling the pinch.  The troubles begin to escalate in a tit-for-tat fashion. The Indian shamans have an idea that will scare white people out of their valley for good. And when a white man is killed by a giant eagle, an event followed by attacks on livestock, there’s rumours of a rabid wild bear on the loose.  But Jason and Donna, the local vet, have the idea something supernatural is on the loose – but who will believe them?
