John Chisholm decides to give his sons – Peter, aged 17 and Kane aged 14 – a holiday in the Northern Territory. The set out accompanied by faithful  Charlie, an indigenous man who has the uncanny talents of his ancestors. Their object is to find Paradise Valley, a map of which had been given to Mr. Chisholm by his father – and the holiday becomes a big adventure.
