  • Each summer, twin brothers in the eighteenth year are chosen to make a dangerous journey to the Summit of the Great Mountain.  If they survive the difficult and perilous Paths, they will be witness to Zenith - and the secrets of the Mountain and the powers they hold will be revealed.  Atreu and his brother Teyth are among the chosen.  As Atreu follows his tortuous Path he finds that other, unknown forces also crave the awseome Power of Zenith and wills top at nothing to make it their own - even if it means destroying the very thing that sustains all life...the Mountain itself.   • Book II of The Timura Trilogy. Safar Timura thinks he's safe now that his enemy and former blood-brother Iraj Protarus is dead and his kingdom is  in ruins. Safar lives now in self imposed exile with his adopted half-demon child Palima in the fabled Valley of the Clouds. There he scours the ancient works of a master wizard for a solution to the mysterious forces that are poisoning the world. His mountain paradise is invaded by four giant wolves - shape changers - intent on wholesale murder. Iraj has returned from the dead with powerful magic and a horde of demon warriors and occult beings to support him. Safar must flee, with a thousand helpless villagers, crossing hundreds of miles of of magic-blasted lands and wild seas. Safar has only his own wizardly skills and those budding talents of young Palimak and in the end, he must enter the darkest contract ever conceived by ma or demon to win the freedom of his people.

  • Eyvind's only ambition is to become a Wolfskin - one of the greatest Viking warriors - and fight for his leader in the name of Thor the Warfather. But his friend Somerled, a strange and lonely boy, has other plans for the future. The two are bound in blood-loyalty from their childhoods. Across the western ocean Nessa, niece to King Engus of the Folk, begins to learn the Mysteries. Eyvind becomes a fearless warrior and Somerled a scholarly courtier. A voyage of discovery by Somerled's brother Ulf brings them together again as they accompany a group of settlers across the ocean to the beautiful islands of rumour and legend. When a tragic event occurs aboard ship, Eyvind suspects it may not have been an accident. Ulf's new settlement begins in harmony with King Engus, leader of the natives of the isles. But the peace is shattered by a brutal murder and Eyvind begins to feel the ties of his childhood blood oath when he realises what future Somerled planned for himself years ago.
  • Book I of The Wolfsangel Cycle. The Viking King Authun leads his men on a raid against an Anglo-Saxon village. Men and women are killed indiscriminately but Authun demands that no child be touched. He is acting on a prophecy that tells him that the Saxons have stolen a child from the Gods. If Authun, in turn, takes the child and raises him as an heir, the child will lead his people to glory. But Athun discovers not one child, but twin baby boys. Ensuring that his faithful warriors, witnesses to what has happened, die during the raid, Authun takes the children and their mother home, back to the witches who live on the troll wall. And he places his destiny in their hands.

  • Elezar the dwarf witnesses a murder.  Not wishing to be 'silenced', he is lucky to be chosen as a servant by Marla, the last princess of the once-great House of Wolfblade.  Her brother may be corrupt and perverted, but he is also the High Prince Hythria.  In this fiercely patriarchal society, Marla's fate will be decided by his whim.  But as the politically astute Elezar discovers, Marla has more spirit and brains that anyone suspects and he starts her on the road to becoming a great tactician and wily diplomat.  She is determined to restore her family's great name, but conspirators surround her.
