  • There was menace in the night skies over England: an international smuggling racket with far-reaching political implications. Gregory Sallust knew nothing of this when, in the Casino at Deuville, he first saw the beautiful Sabine Sventy. Even the presence beside her of Lord Gavin Fortescue -  a man as rich as he was evil - gave him no warning of the violence and danger to which he was committed from that very moment, nor that he would have to save Sabine from a retribution that she has surely earned.

  • A century ago... Amanda, a gentle blind girl, walked the cliffs of Paradise Point.  Then the children came, taunting and teasing until she lost her footing and fell, shrieking her rage, into the sea.  Today...Michelle has come from Boston to live in the big house on Paradise Point, excited about her new friends - until a hand reaches out from the swirling mists: the hand of a blind child.  She is asking for friendship and seeking revenge...

  • When Alison read the chain letter signed 'Your Caretaker' she thought it was a terrible, sick joke. Someone, somewhere, knew all about the awful night when she and six others had committed an unthinkable crime in the California desert.  And that someone was going to make them pay for it.  The chain letter came to each one of them, demanding dangerous, impossible deeds, threatening violence if the demands were not met.  No one wanted to believe the nightmare was happening to them.  Until the accidents started happening...Cover art by Paul Davies.
