  • In 1964, young Frank Walker attempts to sell his prototype jet pack at the World's Fair. After being rejected, he meets Athena, a young girl who is able to transport him to a futuristic cityscape where robots fix his jet pack and he is allowed to join the secret world. In  the present day, young Casey is arrested for sabotaging the demolition of a NASA launch site. When her belongings are returned to her by the police, she finds a strange pin which transports her to the futuristic city - Tomorrowland - for a short visit. When the pin's battery runs out, she tries to find out what is going on - and attracts unwanted attention. Athena appears and helps her get to Frank, who has become a reclusive cynic.   He was banished from Tomorrowland and he won't help Casey to get there. But the prospect of the end of the world is a powerful motivator...Also starring Raffey Cassidy, Hugh Laurie and Tim McGraw.

  • Although the Civil Rights Act of 1964 legally desegregated the South, discrimination was still rampant in certain areas, making it very difficult for Blacks to register to vote. In 1965, an Alabama city became the battleground in the fight for suffrage. Despite violent opposition, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his followers pressed forward on an epic march from Selma to Montgomery, and their efforts culminated with President Lyndon Johnson signing the Voting Rights Act of 1965.
