  • In space, a malfunctioning nuclear powered spy satellite explodes and is about to crash down on Los Angeles. In an effort to avert a disaster, the U.S. Governm,ent tries to bring the satellite down using lasers before it its the Earth. When a laser beam from the U.S. base hits the satellite it causes an enormous burst of energy centred over the suburban area of Monroe High School. The impact of the beam transports the school 200 years into the future. At the exact time of the energy burst, psychotic cult leader Thomas King has just escaped from police custody and is also transported, together with some of the students and a few teachers. Seemingly unfazed by where or when they all are and enchanted with a captive audience, King begins to recreate his cult with the use of hypnotic powers. Between a psycho cult leader, an attack by genetically mutated humans and having no idea where or when they are, how will the kids ever get home again?
