Black House: Stephen King and Peter Straub

The sequel to The Talisman.  Jack Sawyer is now 34 years old and a retired homicide detective from Los Angeles living in Wisconsin and has completely forgotten his childhood adventures in the parallel dimension known as the "Territories".  But when  a vicious serial killer - known as the Fisherman - begins abducting and murdering children in the local area, police chief Dale Gilbertson asks Jack to help catch the killer, pulling Jack back into active duty and forcing his repressed memories and paranormal visions to resurface. Jack must unlock his past, re-enter the magical Territories, and confront the horrific entity - the Crimson King - waiting inside the mysterious Black House to save the children and stop the cosmic threat.
