1789 - and the Terror of the French Revolution is in full swing and the guillotine is doing overtime. Two bored British noblemen, Sir Rodney Ffing and Lord Darcy Pue go undercover as the Black Fingernail - after his calling card of two digits rampant - carrying out the daring rescue of French aristocrats. Their daring antics enrage incompetent revolutionary leader, Citizen Camembert, and his toadying lackey, Citizen Bidet, especially after the Black Fingernail rescues the Duc de Pommfrit, the head of the Royalists.
