Hercules has grown bored on Olympus and is desperate to visit Earth. Zeus forbids this adventure then decides to send Hercules down to make his way among mortal men - in New York City! While the mortals Hercules encounters admire his physical superiority, they certainly have no idea what to make of his repeated assertions that he is the son of Zeus. After several social blunders and making a new friend, a skinny little down-to-earth man named Pretzie, Hercules settles happily into a career as a professional wrestler. But Zeus thinks that Hercules is making a mockery of the Gods and gangsters and crooked wrestling promoters are moving in to make money from betting on Hercules' wrestling matches. Can Hercules hand out justice to the crooks and make it up with his father Zeus? Notable as Arnold Schwarzenegger's film debut.
