The Smith s are very married, very much in love - and can have disagreements that last for days! Then a jurisdictional error reveals that their three year marriage is not valid...Mr. knows about this error, and believes that Mrs. doesn't - but she does - and an invitation to a romantic dinner looks good for a proposal and a remarriage. When the proposal is not forthcoming, there's a huge row, and Mrs. kicks Mr. out - and then the revenge shenanigans fly thick and fast in this screwball comedy.
