DVD: Striking Distance: Bruce Willis

Pittsburgh cop Thomas Hardy turns in his partner and cousin, Jimmy Detillo, for using excessive force - an action which alienates him from the majority of his fellow officers. While en route to the Policeman's Ball with his father, a car believed that to be of the serial killer known as the Polish Hill Strangler is spotted and Tom and his father give chase. There is a collision between Tom's car and the suspect vehicle and when Tom regains consciousness, he learns that his father was shot dead and the killer has escaped. When a criminal named Douglas Kesssler is arrested as the Strangler, it's believed the case is closed. But two years later, the killings begin again...and this time the killer is targeting Tom's ex-lovers...Also stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Dennis Farina and Tom Sizemore.
