Lupo, a goofy presenter at his own "Serenade Café," becomes obsessed with the beautiful opera singer Gina. She heartlessly dismisses him, insisting her husband must also be an opera singer, prompting Lupo to fake it. Duped by Gina's associate, Lupo is sent to Italy for "lessons" with a teacher named Marcello, who actually tries to get rid of him because he's so bad - even dogs run away from the sound of his voice! But then, Lupo finds help in unlikely places...
