It's 1900 - and unscrupulous lumber baron Jim Fallon schemes to use a new law to his advantage to exploit California's redwood forests. All that stands in his way is the Quaker colony that homesteaded much of the land he wants. Led by Elder Boxby, the Quakers try to persuade him to spare the giant sequoias - the trees Fallon wants most. A shrewd businessman and a master of deception, Fallon finds out that he isn't the only one after the claim and forms an unlikely alliance. Also stars Patrice Wymore and Edgar Buchanan.
