Wealthy businessman A. J. Mason takes his son Andrew Jr. and nervous business partner Peyton Potter to lavish Club New Yorker for a grand send off before his son departs for the war. In the course of an evening there is much falling-in-love and the pursuit of Potter by Brazilian beauty Dorita - and when Andrew Jr distinguishes himself in battle and is on the way home to his girl, his father wants to throw him a welcome party, but Club New Yorker is closed for two weeks for rehearsal for the new show. More shenanigans ensue as it's revealed that Peyton's good lady wife may have a racy past, and Dorita hasn't given up her pursuit of Peyton!
