DVD: The Gold Rush: Charlie Chaplin

The Little Tramp journeys to the Klondike during a gold rush, facing starvation, perilous adventures, and comedic struggles with a fellow prospector, Big Jim - who, while delirous with hunger,  mistakes Charlie for a giant chicken -  while falling deeply in love with a dance hall girl, Georgia, whose affections he tries to win amidst the harsh, absurd reality of seeking fortune and love in the frozen wilderness, culminating in the iconic scene where he cooks and eats his boot and transforms bread rolls into dancing shoes.
