On June 25, 1950 at 4.00 a.m., the South Korean villages woke to a world of noise and flame. The communists had crossed the 38th Parallel, launching an all-out and undeclared war. President Truman immediately ordered the American Armed Forces to give the Korean Government air cover and ground support. This documentary, produced in 1955 by the Office of the Armed Forces Information and Education Department, archives the Communists' ruthless push southward and the determination of the American UN Forces to stop them.
