Richard Holbrook's flying career at the US Navy was at risk and a desk job at London HQ left him too much time to drink and brood. Following up an odd little discrepancy in the nuclear shipment paperwork was just a way to keep himself busy. But when his superiors begin steering him away from further enquiries, Holbrook knows there's something up. If small quantities of nuclear material are unaccounted for, then they must be somewhere. They simply can't vanish. So who needs the kind of nuclear material which could, properly processed, make a nuclear bomb?
