Bennett Cerf was one of the founders of the publishing firm Random House, known for his compilations of jokes and stories, and for his regular appearances on the panel game show What's My Line? This is one of his collections of jokes, word play, some trues stories and anecdotes and fabulous one liners. Illustrated by Paul Galdone. Some would probably be classed as politically incorrect now.
