A star is a beacon of hope; a shining light that guides the way. It's a symbol of positivity, happiness and renewal. Look up into the nighttime sky, and the stars have a magical and inspiring presence. They connect human beings to spirituality and divinity. Roses are most commonly associated with love and romance, but are also associated with secrecy or confidentiality; The term sub rosa (under the rose) comes from ancient Rome. Roses were hung from the ceilings of banquet halls and it was understood that anything said under the influence of wine was to remain confidential and this practice persisted into the Middle Ages. Roses also feature on four Tarot cards: The Fool, The Magician, Strength and Death. In order, these represent purity and a reminder to cleanse the mind; unfolding wisdom; balance; and purity, clarity and transparency of intent.
