Nick, an urbane securities analyst from Manhattan, attends the launch of a new energy product by Micromagnetics. An extraordinary scientific mishap renders a small spherical chunk of New Jersey totally invisible, and Nick is the only human in the area at the time. As the invisible Nick tries to eat without a body, have SOME kind of love life and avoid authorities who want to subject him to unpleasant-sounding tests, his world gets very complicated.
