Verdict On India: Beverley Nichols

Nichols spent a year in India and in 1944, published his observations on Hindu social structures, religious practices, and the caste system. He opposes the Indian Congress and supports Pakistan.  Indian nationalists and anti-colonial critics condemned the text as biased; British Prime Minister Winston Churchill praised the book. Please note that there will probably be references and observations that would today be regarded as politically incorrect.
